The Faxon Firearms Match Series Flame Fluted AR-15 barrel is a precision-rifle component chambered in 223 Wylde, allowing safe use of both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition. This 18" barrel features a 1:8 twist rate and is machined from 416-R stainless steel with 5R button rifling for match-grade accuracy and easier cleaning. The Flame Fluted profile sheds weight, exposes more surface area for cooling, and gives the build a distinctive look.

The barrel is finished in Black Nitride (salt bath nitrided inside and out) for outstanding corrosion resistance and surface hardness. It carries a rifle-length gas port with a .750" gas block journal and is supplied threaded with an 11-degree target crown for consistent bullet release and long-range accuracy.
