Faxon Firearms ION Ultralight 5.56 NATO 16" 13" M-LOK Complete Upper

The Faxon Firearms ION Ultralight complete upper receiver brings premium weight savings to the AR-15 platform without sacrificing reliability. Chambered in 5.56 NATO (and compatible with .223 Remington), this upper is built around a patented 16" pencil-profile barrel with Faxon's signature integral 3-port muzzle brake, delivering a complete rifle weight of approximately 4.95 lbs when assembled on a standard lower.

The barrel carries a durable Black Nitride finish for enhanced corrosion resistance and lubricity, and is paired with a multi-position adjustable gas block so the shooter can tune cycling for suppressed or unsuppressed use across a wide range of ammunition. The upper receiver is machined from black anodized aluminum, shaving weight where it counts while preserving the fit and finish expected of a premium AR-15 component.

Up front, a slim 13" M-LOK handguard provides ample real estate for accessories, lights, and lasers without piling on front-end weight. The ION Ultralight is an ideal foundation for a lightweight defensive, recreational, or competition AR-15 build and is proudly made in the USA.
