The Faxon Firearms Gunner Lightweight Bolt Carrier Group is a premium low-mass upgrade for the AR-15/M16 platform, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. This BCG features a distinctive TiN (Titanium Nitride) gold PVD coating on the carrier and gas key for a striking appearance and added surface hardness, while the bolt itself carries a nitride finish for excellent wear and corrosion resistance.
The bolt is machined from 9310 tool steel (stronger than standard C158) and is magnetic particle inspected for reliability. The carrier is cut from 8620 steel and is superfinished for ultra-smooth cycling and reduced friction. Fully full-auto rated and built to mil-spec dimensions, this BCG is ready for duty use, competition, or custom AR-15 builds.
