The Faxon Firearms Gunner Duty Series 5.56 NATO 12.5" barrel is a precision button-rifled AR-15 barrel machined in-house from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium (CMV) steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant Black Nitride coating. Built around Faxon's lighter-weight Gunner profile for a balanced, lightweight build, it is a natural fit for compact AR-15 carbine and pistol projects.

Designed around a 1:8" rifling twist for use with 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition, this barrel is gas-system tuned for a mid-length direct-impingement setup. Every barrel is fully stress relieved, air-gauge tested, and finished with an 11-degree target crown for consistent accuracy and concentric bullet release.
