Faxon Firearms FX7 6.5 Creedmoor 20" 1:8 Twist Gunner Profile Matte DLC Barreled Action

The Faxon Firearms FX7 Barreled Action is a serialized short-action assembly for precision rifle builders. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and made in the USA, it pairs a 416-R stainless steel barrel in the Gunner profile with Faxon's FX7 short-action receiver. The entire assembly wears a Matte DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) finish.

The 20" barrel is 5R button rifled and honed and lapped, with a 1:8 twist rate. The Gunner profile puts extra mass at the chamber where heat is generated and tapers down toward the muzzle, reducing overall weight compared to heavier contours.

The FX7 action uses the proven Remington 700 footprint, making it compatible with the wide range of 700-pattern stocks, bottom metals, and triggers on the market. Drop the barreled action into a stock and trigger group of your choice to complete a 6.5 Creedmoor precision rifle.
