Faxon Firearms FX7 .308 Bolt Face Polished DLC Bolt Action Receiver

The Faxon FX7 bolt action receiver gives precision rifle builders a premium aftermarket action on the familiar Remington 700 footprint. The action body is machined from 416-R stainless steel and protected by a hard, low-friction polished DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating for excellent wear resistance and corrosion protection in the field.

The one-piece bolt is forged from 4340 carbon steel and dressed with Faxon's signature flame fluting, a nod to the company's barrel-machining heritage. It is cut with a .308 bolt face and delivers a short, fast 70-degree bolt lift for quick, positive cycling. Rated as a multi-caliber action, the FX7 is built around the .308 Winchester family of cartridges and is ready to serve as the foundation of a custom hunting, tactical, or long-range rifle.

A precision-machined 20-MOA Picatinny scope rail is integrated into the receiver for extra elevation adjustment when dialing long-range optics. The action is compatible with AICS and AW pattern magazines for flexible magazine selection. Proudly made in the USA, this action is sold as the receiver body and bolt only - barrel, stock, trigger, and bottom metal are purchased separately to complete the build.
