The Faxon Firearms Duty Series Gunner profile barrel is an 18-inch replacement barrel chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and built for the AR-15 / M16 platform. Machined from 4150 mil-spec steel with a button-rifled bore cut at a 1:8" twist, the barrel is finished in QPQ Black Nitride for a hard, corrosion-resistant surface that is easier to clean and maintain than bare steel.

The Gunner profile combines weight savings at the muzzle with the rearward mass needed for chamber-area rigidity, helping balance a complete rifle without sacrificing strength where it counts.
