Faxon Firearms Duty Series Gov't/Socom AR-15 5.56 NATO 10.5" Barrel - Black Nitride

The Faxon Firearms Duty Series Gov't/Socom 10.5" Barrel is a New standalone barrel for compact AR-15/M4/M16-pattern builds chambered in 5.56 NATO. Its carbine-length gas system and short 10.5 in format suit compact build configurations.

This Duty Series barrel uses a Government/SOCOM contour and is machined from 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium steel. It is button rifled with a 1:8 twist rate, while the bore and exterior receive a Black QPQ nitride finish.

The barrel is fitted with an M4-pattern extension, a .750 in gas-block journal, and a .080 in gas port. At the muzzle, 1/2x28 threads and an 11-degree target crown provide the established interface and crown geometry.

Each barrel is stress relieved, air-gauge tested, magnetic-particle inspected, and individually headspace checked.
