Faxon Firearms Duty Series AR-15 5.56 NATO 16" HBAR Barrel - Black Nitride

The Faxon Firearms Duty Series AR-15 HBAR Barrel is a standalone 16" barrel chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and compatible with 223 Remington ammunition. Its heavy HBAR profile is intended to improve rigidity and heat control during sustained use.

Faxon machines this barrel from certified 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium steel and applies a black nitride finish. The bore is button rifled with a 1:8 twist, while the exterior uses a non-fluted configuration.

The barrel is configured for a mid-length gas system and has a .750" gas-block journal. Its muzzle is threaded and finished with an 11-degree target crown. No sights are supplied with this standalone AR-15 barrel.

Manufacturing and inspection steps include stress relieving, air-gauge testing, and magnetic-particle inspection. Listed barrel weight is 2.10 lb. This current-production component is offered in New condition for AR-15 builds and barrel replacements.
