The Faxon Firearms Duty Series 16" Gunner Profile AR-15 Barrel is a precision-machined rifle barrel chambered in 300 Blackout (300 AAC Blackout) and built around Faxon's signature balanced Gunner contour. Part of the company's Duty Series line, this barrel delivers the weight savings of a lighter contour up front with the rigidity needed at the chamber for consistent accuracy - a popular choice for versatile 300 BLK carbine builds.

The barrel is machined from certified 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel and finished in a wear-resistant Black Nitride (QPQ) treatment that also improves corrosion resistance. It features a 1:8 twist rate that stabilizes the wide range of supersonic and subsonic bullet weights used in 300 Blackout, a 16" overall length, and a carbine-length gas system tuned for reliable cycling with both super- and sub-sonic loads.

Every barrel is Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) for material integrity and is finished with a 5/8x24 thread pitch for compatibility with standard 300 BLK muzzle devices and suppressors, plus a .750" gas block journal. At approximately 1.48 lbs, it offers a balanced feel for both rifle and shorter carbine configurations.
