The Faxon Firearms Big Gunner Duty barrel in 8.6 Blackout is a 12" heavy-profile replacement barrel built for hard-use AR-10 platforms chambered in the new 8.6 BLK cartridge. Machined from certified 4150 steel and button rifled with a fast 1:3" twist, this barrel is engineered to stabilize both subsonic and supersonic 8.6 BLK projectiles, including heavy supersonic loads designed for maximum energy on target.

The barrel features the signature Big Gunner contour - a heavier profile that resists barrel whip and improves heat dissipation during sustained fire. A target crown protects the muzzle from contact damage, while the Black Oxide finish provides a durable, low-reflectivity surface. The barrel uses a DPMS Gen 1-pattern .308 extension for drop-in compatibility with standard AR-10 bolt carrier groups and upper receivers.
