The Faxon Firearms AR-15 X-Tra Lite stripped receiver set is an ultra-lightweight matched upper and lower built for builders chasing the lightest possible AR-15 platform without sacrificing strength. Machined from 7075-T6 forged aluminum and finished in Titanium Cerakote, the set weighs just 0.96 lbs (15.36 oz) combined - roughly 2.08 oz lighter than Faxon's standard forged receiver set.

The X-Tra Lite ships stripped, ready for your lower parts kit, barrel nut, handguard, bolt carrier group, and buttstock of choice. The upper ships with an installed ejection port cover and dust cover. It accepts multi-caliber AR-15 uppers and is compatible with standard DPMS-pattern small parts, making it a flexible foundation for everything from a duty carbine to a lightweight SBR or pistol build.

Designed and manufactured in Ohio, the Titanium Cerakote finish gives the receivers a distinctive muted silver-gray appearance with excellent wear and corrosion resistance.
