The Evolution Gun Works HD Howa 1500 / Weatherby Vanguard SA Picatinny Scope Rail is a heavy-duty one-piece optics base machined to provide a rock-solid, repeatable mounting platform for your Howa 1500 short action or Weatherby Vanguard rifle. Engineered specifically for the short action footprint shared by both rifles, the HD rail drops directly onto the factory receiver holes to deliver a tight, no-gap mounting surface for your optic.

CNC-machined from solid 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and protected by a matte black hardcoat anodized finish, the HD base offers the strength and rigidity needed for hard-recoiling magnum and long-range calibers while keeping carry weight to a minimum. Built at 0 MOA, the rail keeps the optic centered on the bore, making it an excellent choice for general-purpose hunting, precision, and mid-range shooting.

The rail accepts both Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) and Weaver style scope rings, giving you full flexibility to dial in your preferred optic height and eye relief. Its quick-disconnect design lets you remove and re-install the optic while retaining zero when torqued to the recommended 20 in/lbs. Mounting hardware is included with the rail, and installation is straightforward with a T-10 bit and the supplied #6-48 x 1/4" screws. Overall length of mount measures 6.67".
