The Ed Brown Special Forces Gen4 is a purpose-built 45 ACP single-action 1911 designed for personal protection and serious range work. It carries a 7+1 capacity in a single-stack magazine, a 5-inch stainless steel barrel, and the rugged Stealth Gray finish package that defines this generation of the Special Forces line.

Built on Ed Brown's Government Model stainless steel frame with an integrated beavertail, the SF18G4 is paired with a matching Stealth Gray serrated carbon steel slide. The flattened and serrated top of the slide reduces glare and provides an unmistakable sight picture, while the recessed slide stop keeps the profile clean. Together, the all-metal construction and severe-use coating deliver outstanding wear resistance and rust protection.

The 5" match-grade stainless barrel is paired with Ed Brown's fiber optic/U-notch sighting system - a bright fiber optic front for fast acquisition in varied light, and a U-notch rear for precise shot placement. The SAO trigger breaks crisp and clean, and the pistol is finished off with black VZ grips that give the shooter a confident, ergonomic hold. A traditional thumb safety keeps operation intuitive for any 1911 shooter.
