The E.M.F 1873 Great Western II "Gambler's Royale" is a single-action revolver chambered in 45 Colt (Long Colt), built on the iconic 1873 Single Action Army pattern and manufactured in Italy by Pietta for the Early Modern Firearms Company. This configuration is the dressier Ultra Black edition, combining a polished steel frame with a contrasting Ultra Black barrel and a fully engraved cylinder finished in black, highlighted with Victorian scrollwork that runs across both the cylinder and the barrel.

At its core, the Gambler's Royale is a traditional single-action-only revolver with an exposed hammer and a 6-round cylinder, loaded one round at a time through the loading gate in the classic Old West style. The barrel measures 4.75" - the "quick-draw" length favored on the original Colt SAA - giving the revolver a balanced, fast-handling feel that suits Cowboy Action Shooting, Old West reenactment, traditional plinking, or general collection use.
