Each 130-grain cartridge carries 160 pieces of #9 shot alongside a 50-grain hard cast solid, with the shot held in a polymer capsule that opens on impact to release the pattern.

Designed for use in .38 Special revolvers, this Snake Shot load runs at roughly 1000 fps from a 4" test barrel, giving farm, ranch, and backcountry shooters an effective, low-over-penetration option for dealing with rattlesnakes, copperheads, and other pests without sending a full-power slug downrange.
