Smack Down is built around purple-top turnip and forage turnip varieties selected for their ability to germinate quickly, mature in as little as 40 days, and produce attractive forage during both warm and cold temperatures. The result is a food source that whitetails will hammer from late summer through the winter months, delivering high levels of protein and energy right when deer need it most for the rut and the cold-weather recovery period.

Domain Outdoor formulated this mix to be easy to grow for the do-it-yourself food plotter. Plant at a seed depth of 1/4" or less in soil with a pH range of 5.8 to 7.0, and apply 300 lbs of 19-19-19 fertilizer per acre for best results. The seed grows rapidly and reaches maturity fast, so you can establish an attractive forage base on a tight timeline leading into hunting season.
