Precision machined from a solid block of top-grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum, it delivers the rigidity of a one-piece design while weighing roughly two-thirds less than comparable mounts, with four times the thread engagement for a secure, repeatable lockup on the receiver.

This 12280 model carries high rings sized for 1" scope tubes, giving clearance for larger objective lenses and a comfortable cheek weld on the Ruger American platform. The mount sits 1.17" above the receiver and measures 5.036" end-to-end. A matte black finish keeps glare down and blends with most factory and aftermarket rifle builds, and the ambidextrous one-piece design fits both left- and right-hand firearms.
