The DNT Optics Hydra HS225R is a multi-function thermal scope that pairs a high-sensitivity imaging chain with a built-in laser rangefinder and on-board ballistics solver, giving hunters one compact unit for detection, ranging, and hold solutions in the field.

At the heart of the optic is a 256x192 uncooled infrared sensor with a 12 μm pixel pitch and a ≤25 mK NETD rating, feeding a 1024x768 Micro-OLED display running at a smooth 50 Hz refresh rate. The 25mm objective gathers thermal signature for clean target identification, while the 3-12x magnification range lets the shooter step in on close hogs and predators or pull back for wider situational scanning.

A true 3-in-1 design sets the Hydra HS225R apart from single-purpose thermals: run it as a standalone riflescope on a hunting rifle, mount it as a clip-on thermal in front of a daylight optic, or pull it off the gun and use it as a handheld monocular for scanning sign and tracking game.

The integrated laser rangefinder sends distance data straight to the on-board ballistics calculator, so the display shows a corrected hold point for long-range predator, hog, and varmint work without manual math at the bench or in the field.
