The Davide Pedersoli 1874 Sporting is a hand-crafted Italian reproduction of the legendary American Sharps single-shot rifle, chambered in the powerful .45-70 Government cartridge. Built in Italy by Davide Pedersoli, the Sporting variant pairs a traditional 32" octagon barrel in a deep blued finish with a color case hardened steel receiver, delivering the lines, balance, and shooting character of an original 1874 Sharps for today's hunters, competitors, and collectors.

The action is a classic break-open single-shot design, allowing the shooter to reload quickly by simply pivoting the breech open. A premium double-set trigger (Stecher) is fitted for a light, crisp let-off when precise shot placement matters. The barrel is drilled and tapped for optic mounting and wears an adjustable front sight, with the receiver pre-drilled for the traditional tang rear sight. With a barrel twist of 1:18", the rifle is optimized for the conical lead and jacketed bullets most commonly used in .45-70 Gov handloads and factory loads.

A richly figured walnut stock in a warm brown finish completes the traditional silhouette, finished to complement the blued octagon barrel and case colored receiver. Overall length measures 48.88" and the rifle weighs 10.57 lbs, giving the rifle a steady, well-balanced swing that suits both offhand and rested shooting. This is a right-hand configuration built on a steel receiver, proof tested and manufactured to modern Italian standards.
