Daniel Defense M4A1 FSP RIS II AR-15 12.25" Free-Float Handguard - Flat Dark Earth

The Daniel Defense M4A1 FSP RIS II is a 12.25" two-piece, free-floating AR-15 handguard designed for a carbine-length gas system with a standard fixed front-sight base. Its uninterrupted upper rail incorporates a dedicated front-sight-base cutout, preserving the fixed sight configuration while providing continuous rail space around it.

The handguard is machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and protected by a Mil-Spec Type III hard-coat anodized Flat Dark Earth finish. Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny accessory rails provide mounting space on all four sides. The assembly measures 12.25" long, 2.23" wide and 2.25" high, with a 1.15" inside diameter.

Daniel Defense's patented six-bolt Bolt-Up system secures the rail to the upper receiver using a steel barrel nut and Grade 8 Mil-Spec fasteners. Developed for the USSOCOM SOPMOD II program, the design includes a removable lower rail section that permits an M203 launcher to be attached and free-floated without separate mounting parts or special installation tools. This model does not include an integrated sling-swivel attachment point.

This standalone rifle forend is offered in New condition for AR-15 builds requiring the M4A1 FSP configuration, full Picatinny coverage and a fixed-front-sight-base cutout.
