Daniel Defense M4A1 FSP RIS II AR-15 12.25" Free-Float Handguard - Black

The Daniel Defense M4A1 FSP RIS II Handguard is a 12.25" two-piece, free-floating AR-15 rail assembly designed for rifles with a carbine-length gas system. Its continuous upper rail includes an opening for a standard fixed front-sight base, providing the model-specific FSP configuration without interrupting the top rail.

The handguard is machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in black Mil-Spec Type III hard-coat anodizing. A hardened steel barrel nut, Grade 8 military-specification fasteners, and Daniel Defense's six-bolt Bolt-Up mounting system secure the assembly to the upper receiver. The rail measures 2.23" wide by 2.25" high, has a 1.15" inside diameter, and weighs 17.1 oz.

Developed for the USSOCOM SOPMOD II program, the RIS II uses Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rails for accessory mounting. Its removable lower rail section permits M203 attachment without separate free-float components or special mounting tools. This model does not have an integrated sling-swivel attachment point.

This standalone handguard assembly is offered in New condition with a black anodized finish.
