Daniel Defense DDM4 V9 5.56x45mm NATO 16" 10+1 Semi-Auto Rifle - CA Compliant

The Daniel Defense DDM4 V9 California Compliant is a right-hand semi-automatic centerfire rifle from the V9 CA Compliant series. Chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and also compatible with 223 Remington, it combines a 16" barrel, 10+1 capacity and a fixed 10-round magazine with a magazine-lock system. Its intended applications include sporting, competition, tactical and personal-protection use.

The 16" Government-profile barrel falls within the 16" to 16.99" barrel-length range. It is cold-hammer forged from chrome-moly-vanadium steel, chrome lined, magnetic-particle tested and protected by a heavy phosphate finish. The bore has a 1:7 twist. A mid-length direct-impingement gas system operates through a pinned, low-profile 4140 hardened-steel gas block. The 1/2x28 threaded muzzle is fitted with a Daniel Defense 17-4 PH stainless-steel flash suppressor featuring a salt-bath-nitride finish.

The mil-spec upper and lower receivers are CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with black Type III hard-coat anodizing. The upper includes indexing marks and M4 feed ramps, while the lower has an enhanced flared magazine well and rear QD sling-swivel point. The stated metal finish is Black Hardcoat Anodized/Black Phosphate, with the metal finish group identified as Blued/Black. Black synthetic furniture completes the exterior color scheme.

A 15" free-floating DDM4 quad-rail handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, finished with Type III hard-coat anodizing and equipped with a full-length top rail for optics and accessories. The rifle is optic ready, and no iron sights are supplied.

Controls include a standard trigger and a thumb-operated, manual ambidextrous safety selector. The M16-profile, mil-spec bolt-carrier group is magnetic-particle tested and features chrome lining and a properly staked gas key. This model is configured for right-hand operation.

The stock description is 6 Position w/SoftTouch Overmolding. Its six-position mil-spec receiver extension is made from 7075-T6 aluminum, while the Daniel Defense buttstock, pistol grip and vertical grip are made from glass-filled polymer with SoftTouch overmolding. Overall length adjusts from 32.25" to 35.88".

Unloaded weight is 6.59 lbs, placing the rifle within the stated 6 lbs to 6.99 lbs weight range. Included equipment consists of one 10-round Magpul PMAG, a Daniel Defense vertical grip, heat-resistant Santoprene rail panels and a full-latch impact-plastic case. This rifle is offered in New condition.
