Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 Pro 5.56x45mm NATO 18" 10+1 Semi-Auto Rifle - CA Compliant

The Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 Pro California Compliant is an AR-15-style centerfire rifle configured for multi-gun competition. Part of the V7 Pro CA Compliant series, it uses a semi-automatic, direct-gas operating system with a rifle-length gas system. It is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and is also compatible with 223 Remington. Capacity is 10+1, and one 10-round Magpul PMAG is included.

The rifle is built around an 18" cold-hammer-forged S2W heavy-profile barrel, placing it within the 18" to 18.99" barrel-length range. The chrome-moly-vanadium barrel has a chrome-lined bore, 1:7 twist and 1/2x28 muzzle threads. A Daniel Defense Gen II Muzzle Climb Mitigator is installed to counter recoil and muzzle rise. The free-floating 15" Daniel Defense MFR handguard features M-LOK attachment slots and an uninterrupted top Picatinny rail for mounting optics, iron sights and accessories. The rifle is optic-ready, with no sights supplied.

The 7075-T6 aluminum receiver has a black hardcoat-anodized finish, while the established metal finish is black hardcoat anodized and black phosphate. Its metal finish group is Blued/Black. The black furniture includes a 6-position stock with SoftTouch overmolding and an ergonomic Daniel Defense pistol grip. Overall length is 34.25" to 37.88", depending on stock position. At 7.40 lbs, the rifle falls within the 7 lbs to 7.99 lbs weight range.

Controls include a Geissele SD-3G single-stage trigger, also designated the Geissele Automatics Super Dynamic 3 Gun trigger, a manual thumb safety and an independently ambidextrous Daniel Defense GRIP-N-RIP charging handle. This is a right-hand configuration.

The California-compliant configuration uses a magazine-lock system that prevents operation of the magazine release while the rifle is fully assembled. Separating the upper and lower with the extended rear takedown pin permits magazine removal. This new-production rifle includes one 10-round Magpul PMAG and a Daniel Defense Full-Latch Impact plastic case.
