The Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 California Compliant is an AR-style centerfire rifle from the V7 *CA Compliant series, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement action with a mid-length gas system and has a 10+1-round capacity.

Its 16" cold-hammer-forged steel barrel has a 1:7 twist, black phosphate finish, and 1/2x28 muzzle threads. A Daniel Defense improved flash suppressor is installed at the muzzle. The product record lists the barrel length range as 5.56 NATO.
