The Daniel Defense DDM4 MK18 brings the iconic MK18 CQBR (Close Quarters Battle Receiver) into the commercial market as a factory-complete AR pistol chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Built around Daniel Defense's reputation for producing rifle components supplied to USSOCOM, this variant pairs a short 10.30" Cold Hammer Forged barrel with the company's signature Quad Rail handguard system that ships on military-issue MK18 uppers, delivering a hard-use AR pistol well suited to confined-space applications.

At the heart of the build is a 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receiver finished in Type III Black Hardcoat Anodized, machined to tight tolerances for reliable cycling. The 10.30" cold hammer forged barrel is threaded for muzzle-device compatibility and finished in black to match the receiver, and the included Quad Rail handguard provides continuous Picatinny real estate for lights, lasers, vertical grips, and other accessories. The pistol ships without a magazine so the shooter can pair it with their preferred 5.56 magazine.

Ergonomics and controls are tuned for real-world handling. An SB Tactical SBA3 five-position adjustable pistol stabilizing brace is mounted to a receiver extension, paired with a Black Overmolded pistol grip for positive hand purchase. Ambidextrous safety selectors make the pistol easy to manipulate for both left- and right-handed shooters, and no iron sights are installed, leaving the top Picatinny rail free for red dot, low-power variable, or holographic optics with magnifier. The pistol weighs in at 5.85 lbs empty and measures 28.63" overall with the brace collapsed.
