The Daniel Defense DDM4 MK12 SPR is a 5.56x45mm NATO semi-automatic rifle built in the Special Purpose Rifle (SPR) tradition, purpose-designed as a lightweight, hard-hitting designated-marksman and precision platform.

At the heart of the DDM4 MK12 SPR is an 18" stainless steel barrel created during the cold hammer forging process for the tightest possible chamber and bore concentricity, paired with a 1:7" twist that stabilizes a wide range of projectile weights. A flash suppressor sits at the muzzle, and the upper and lower receivers are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in black hardcoat anodized, with black phosphate on the steel components for corrosion resistance.

The action runs a Mil-Spec trigger behind an ambidextrous safety for confident right- or left-handed control, and the rifle feeds from a detachable magazine for an on-board capacity of 20+1. The 6-position stock features SoftTouch overmolding for positive cheek weld and grip, and the overall length adjusts from 34.75" to 37.88" across the stock positions.
