Daniel Defense DDM4 M4A1 5.56x45mm NATO 14.5" 30+1 Semi-Auto Rifle - Mil-Spec Brown Cerakote

The Daniel Defense DDM4 M4A1 is a semi-automatic AR-platform rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and configured around the iconic M4A1 carbine profile. Built in the USA by Daniel Defense, this rifle brings together a 14.5" cold hammer-forged M4-profile barrel, a Mil-Spec Brown Cerakote finish, and the company's signature RIS II free-float handguard for a duty-ready carbine well-suited to tactical, defensive, and recreational shooting.

At the core of the rifle is a 14.5" chrome-lined steel barrel turned on a cold hammer-forged M4 profile with a 1:7" twist for stabilizing a wide range of 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington projectiles. A Daniel Defense flash suppressor is permanently attached to the barrel to yield a 16" overall barrel-and-muzzle length. The barrel is paired with a 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receiver finished in Mil-Spec Brown Cerakote over Type III hardcoat anodizing, with controls including an ambidextrous safety for right- or left-handed manipulation.

The M4A1 RIS II free-float handguard is the same platform that has been in service with U.S. Special Operations Command under the SOPMOD II Weapons System since 2005. It provides a continuous Picatinny top rail and accessory mounting around the barrel for lights, lasers, foregrips, and other accessories. Up top, the receiver is optic ready with a full-length Picatinny rail, allowing easy mounting of red dots, holographic sights, or low-, mid-, or high-power variable optics to suit the shooter's preferred setup.

The rifle ships with a 6-position collapsible stock finished in matching brown with SoftTouch overmolding for positive cheek weld and a secure shoulder. Overall length adjusts from 31.50" to 34.75" to fit a range of shooters and kit configurations, and unloaded weight is 6.74 lbs. A standard 30-round magazine is included, putting capacity at 30+1 right out of the box.
