Daniel Defense DDM4 M4A1 5.56x45mm NATO 14.5" 10+1 Semi-Auto Rifle - CA Compliant

The Daniel Defense DDM4 M4A1 California Compliant is a right-handed AR-style centerfire rifle from the M4A1 CA Compliant series, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement action with a carbine-length gas system and has a 10+1 capacity.

Its 14.50" M4-profile steel barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome lined and finished in black phosphate. This barrel falls within the 14" to 14.99" barrel-length range and has a 1:7 twist with 1/2x28 muzzle threads. A permanently pinned and welded Daniel Defense flash suppressor produces a 16-inch legal barrel assembly.

The rifle is built around a 7075-T6 aluminum receiver wearing Mil-Spec Brown Cerakote, paired with the M4A1 RIS II Picatinny quad-rail system. It is optic ready and does not include iron sights. The controls include a Mil-Spec trigger and manual thumb safety.

Furniture includes a black synthetic six-position Daniel Defense buttstock with SoftTouch overmolding and a black polymer pistol grip. Overall length adjusts from 31.50" to 34.75". The rifle weighs 6.74 lbs, placing it within the 6 lbs to 6.99 lbs weight range.

This California-compliant configuration prevents operation of the magazine release while the rifle is fully assembled. Pulling the extended rear takedown pin separates the receivers sufficiently to release the magazine.

The rifle is offered in New Condition and includes one 10-round OEM magazine and a Daniel Defense hard plastic carrying case.
