Daniel Defense DD5 V5 Gen II 6.5 Creedmoor 20" 20+1 Semi-Auto Rifle - Mil-Spec+ Brown

The Daniel Defense DD5 V5 Gen II is a direct-impingement, semi-automatic centerfire rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and configured for long-range precision shooting. It combines a 20" barrel with a 20+1 capacity and accepts SR-25-pattern magazines.

The Daniel Defense S2W-profile barrel is made from proprietary steel, cold hammer forged, chrome lined and protected by a heavy phosphate finish. It has a 1:8 twist, and its specified barrel length range is 20" to 20.99". A Rifle +1 gas system uses a user-adjustable gas block for suppressed or unsuppressed operation. The 5/8x24 muzzle threads are fitted with a DD Superior Suppression Device made from salt-bath-nitrided 17-4 PH stainless steel.

The upper and lower receivers are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with Type III hard-coat anodizing and a Mil-Spec+ Brown Cerakote exterior. Daniel Defense's four-bolt barrel-to-receiver connection system secures the barrel assembly. The lower receiver incorporates an enhanced flared magazine well and a rear QD sling-swivel attachment point.

A 15" aluminum DD5 handguard provides M-LOK attachment slots and a full-length Picatinny top rail. The rifle is optic ready, with no iron sights included. Controls include an ambidextrous safety, an independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle with anti-gas features and a Daniel Defense mil-spec trigger. Its DLC-coated, superfinished bolt-carrier group uses a buffered carrier, enhanced extractor geometry and dual ejectors.

The stock configuration is 6 Position with SoftTouch Overmolding on a mil-spec 7075-T6 aluminum receiver extension. The glass-filled-polymer Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip feature Soft Touch overmolding and matching brown furniture. Overall length adjusts from 38.38" to 41.63". Unloaded weight is 8.90 lbs, placing the rifle in the specified 8 lbs to 8.99 lbs weight range. It is configured for right-handed use and made in the USA.

This New rifle includes one 20-round Magpul PMAG and a Daniel Defense full-latch impact-resistant plastic case.
