Daniel Defense DD5 V5 6.5 Creedmoor 20" 20+1 Semi-Auto Rifle

The Daniel Defense DD5 V5 is an AR-10-style semi-auto rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and configured for long-range precision shooting. It uses a direct-impingement operating system, offers a 20+1 capacity with SR-25-pattern magazines and is listed in a right-hand configuration.

Its 20" S2W-profile barrel falls within the listed 20" to 20.99" barrel-length range. The barrel is cold hammer forged from Daniel Defense proprietary steel, chrome lined, heavy phosphate coated and cut with a 1:8 twist. The muzzle has 5/8x24 threads and a DD Superior Suppression Device made from 17-4 PH stainless steel with a salt-bath-nitride finish. A Rifle +1 gas system and user-adjustable gas block support suppressed or unsuppressed operation, while the four-bolt barrel-to-receiver connection secures the barrel assembly.

The upper and lower receivers are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and wear a black Type III hard-coat anodized finish. The listed metal finish group is Blued/Black. The lower includes a flared magazine well and rear QD sling-swivel attachment point. A 15" DD5 M-LOK handguard, machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with matching Type III hard-coat anodizing, provides accessory-mounting space.

Controls include a mil-spec trigger, safety-selector switch and independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle with anti-gas features. The superfinished, DLC-coated bolt-carrier group incorporates an integral buffer, enhanced extractor geometry and dual ejectors. The rifle is optic ready and does not include sights.

The six-position Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip are made from glass-filled polymer with SoftTouch overmolding, paired with a mil-spec 7075-T6 aluminum receiver extension. Overall length adjusts from 38.38" to 41.63". Listed weight is 8.90 lbs, placing the rifle within the stated 8 lbs to 8.99 lbs weight range.

This New rifle includes one 20-round Magpul PMAG and a hard plastic firearm case.
