The Daniel Defense DD5 V4 Hunter is a right-handed centerfire semi-auto rifle chambered in 260 Rem. Configured for hunting and long-range precision shooting, it combines an 18" chrome-lined barrel with a 5+1 capacity and a rifle-length gas system. Its listed Barrel Length Range is 18" to 18.99".

The barrel has a 1:8" twist rate and is fitted with a Muzzle: DD Superior Suppression Device. An adjustable gas block supports suppressed or unsuppressed operation. The DD5 bolt-carrier group is designed to reduce recoil impulse, simplify maintenance and support operation under varying conditions.

The rifle uses a 7075-T6 aluminum receiver with a Kryptek Highlander receiver and handguard treatment. Its Stock Description is 6 Position with SoftTouch Overmolding, paired with a black polymer pistol grip. The metal finish is identified within the blued/black finish group.

A Geissele SSA two-stage trigger and manual thumb safety provide the established fire-control arrangement. No sights are supplied; the rifle is optic-ready for the shooter's preferred sighting system.

Overall length adjusts from 35.38" to 39". The rifle weighs 8.60 lbs, with a listed Weight Range of 8 lbs to 8.99 lbs. It is offered in New condition and includes one 5-round magazine.
