The Daniel Defense Rail Mounted Fixed Front Sight is a one-piece fixed iron sight for AR-15 and AR-platform firearms equipped with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. Its absolute co-witness height provides a fixed front reference, and the sight is suitable for pairing with the Daniel Defense A1.5 Fixed Rear Sight.
The Rock & Lock design is machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in black military-specification hardcoat anodizing. Its streamlined, snag-resistant profile uses a through-cut, weight-saving body. A slotted fastener threads into a self-locking stainless-steel insert to secure the sight to the rail.
A 0.070" front sight post provides elevation adjustment in 2 MOA increments. The fixed configuration keeps the sight immediately available without requiring deployment or folding.
The sight is shaped to permit compact weapon lights such as the SureFire X300 or Streamlight TLR-1 to be positioned forward of it. Concave side surfaces provide ambidextrous thumb-rest areas for light activation.
Overall dimensions are 1.00" long, 1.67" high and 1.24" wide. This USA-made rail-mounted sight is offered in New condition.
