The Dan Wesson V-Bob is a Commander-size variant of the company's Valor 1911 platform, purpose-built as a high-performance concealed-carry and duty pistol in .45 ACP. It pairs a forged stainless steel frame with an extended beavertail to a bead-blasted stainless steel slide finished with cocking serrations, giving it both classic 1911 lines and a modern, snag-resistant profile.

Up front, the V-Bob carries a 4.25" match-grade barrel tuned for accuracy out of a compact slide. The crisp single-action (SAO) trigger breaks cleanly, feeding from an 8+1 single-stack magazine for a true Commander-class capacity in .45 ACP.

Controls are dialed for serious use: a tactical ambidextrous thumb safety, classic-pattern black G10 grip panels, and a night front sight paired with a U-notch rear for fast, intuitive target acquisition in varied lighting. The 1911-style grip frame and traditional single-stack layout keep the V-Bob slim and controllable for everyday carry, with an overall length of 8" giving it a true Commander-profile footprint.
