The Dan Wesson Specialist Commander is a duty-grade 1911 pistol chambered in .45 ACP and built on a Commander-length platform with a 4.25" stainless steel barrel and an 8+1 single-stack magazine. The bead-blasted stainless steel frame and slide carry a non-reflective matte finish and feature aggressive serrations for positive manipulation, while an extended beavertail and an integrated Picatinny accessory rail add comfort and tactical versatility.

Purpose-built for serious carry and hard use, the Specialist Commander runs a proven Single Action Only trigger and ships with fixed tritium night sights for low-light targeting. The pistol carries an ambidextrous thumb safety and grip safety, making it equally at home in the hands of right- and left-handed shooters. Two-tone Black/Brown G10 grips lock the gun into the hand and round out a package designed for demanding environments.
