Dan Wesson Specialist 45 ACP 5" 8+1 SAO Pistol

The Dan Wesson Specialist is a duty-grade 1911-style semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP and built around a forged stainless steel frame and slide. Purpose-built for law enforcement, defensive use, and serious range work, the Specialist blends Dan Wesson's modern duty features with the classic single-action 1911 operating system.

The slide is optic cut to accept a red-dot sight and wears Dan Wesson inset slide serrations along with forward cocking serrations for easy press checks and manipulation. It is finished in a low-gloss Black Duty coating applied over the forged stainless steel to reduce reflectivity and improve corrosion resistance. Up front, the 5" match-grade stainless barrel delivers the accuracy and recoil management expected of a duty-grade 1911.

The beavertail frame is machined with an integrated 1913 Picatinny accessory rail under the dust cover for mounting a weapon light or laser, paired with an undercut trigger guard and a flared magwell for faster, more consistent reloads. Controls include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a 1911-style grip safety. Black/Brown G10 grips with a textured surface provide a secure hold under recoil, and fixed tritium night sights are installed for low-light aiming. The pistol ships with two 8-round magazines, giving you an 8+1 capacity right out of the box.

Overall length is 8.75" with a weight of 42.3 oz. The Dan Wesson Specialist combines modern tactical features with the timeless single-action 1911 trigger in a purpose-built duty/defensive .45 ACP platform.
