Dan Wesson Specialist 10mm Auto 5" 8+1 Semi-Auto Pistol - Stainless Steel

The Dan Wesson Specialist is a full-size 1911-platform semi-auto pistol purpose-built around the powerful 10mm Auto cartridge. Built around a 5" barrel and an 8+1 single-stack magazine, the Specialist is a recoil-operated, single-action-only (SAO) autoloader designed for duty, hunting, and defensive use.

Construction is all stainless steel, with a beavertail frame and a bead-blasted, serrated slide that gives the operator positive purchase for press checks and chambering. An integrated Picatinny accessory rail on the dustcover accepts lights or lasers, while fixed tritium night sights deliver three-dot low-light aiming without batteries. The Specialist measures 8.75" in overall length.

Ergonomics come courtesy of Black/Brown G10 grip panels that pair composite durability with a distinctive two-tone look. An ambidextrous thumb safety paired with the classic 1911-style grip safety lets the Specialist run comfortably in either hand without altering the traditional manual of arms.

Each Specialist ships with two 8-round magazines, giving shooters a ready capacity of 9 rounds when one magazine is topped off and a round is chambered. This is a current-production Dan Wesson pistol, engineered to put the harder-recoiling 10mm Auto into a controllable, feature-rich 1911 package.
