The CZ-USA 457 Varmint Trainer MTR is a purpose-built precision bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR, designed for varmint hunters and trainers who want match-grade accuracy in a compact, suppressor-ready package. Part of CZ's 457 platform, this model pairs a stiff heavy-contour barrel with a premium composite stock for a rifle that delivers on the range and in the field.

At the heart of this rifle is a 16.5" heavy barrel finished in black nitride and threaded 1/2x28 for easy mounting of a suppressor or muzzle device. The barrel features a match chamber and a 1:16 rate of twist, well suited to a wide range of 22 LR ammunition. The action is topped with an 11mm dovetail for optic mounting, and the rifle ships with no iron sights, keeping the package focused on scope use.

The bolt-action cycles from a detachable 5-round magazine, giving a 5+1 capacity. One 5-round magazine is included with the rifle. The stock is a Manners composite camo stock with an adjustable cheek riser, offering a solid, stable shooting platform with the weight distribution and ergonomics that varmint and precision shooters demand.
