The CZ 457 American SR brings the classic American-style sporter stock to CZ's modular and highly regarded 457-series rimfire platform. Built around a 20 in steel threaded barrel mated to a stainless steel receiver finished in black nitride, this full-size bolt-action rifle weighs in at 6.17 lbs with an overall length of 38.46 in, making it a comfortable carry in the field and a steady hold on the bench.

Chambered in the versatile, hard-hitting 22 WMR (22 Magnum) cartridge, the American SR feeds from a 5-round detachable magazine for a 5+1 capacity. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for easy mounting of a suppressor or muzzle device, giving the SR its suppressor-ready designation, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for optics mounting. With no iron sights installed, this rifle is purpose-built to be topped with a scope right out of the box.

The 457 action carries a crisp, user-adjustable two-position safety and an adjustable trigger that lets shooters tune the pull to their preference.
