The CZ 457 American brings CZ's modern rimfire bolt-action platform to the .22 WMR hunting and sport-shooting field in a classic American-style sporter configuration. Built around a 24-inch cold hammer forged barrel and a high-grade Turkish walnut stock, this rifle pairs the look and feel of a traditional American rimfire sporter with the refined 457 action.

The bolt action is fed from a detachable magazine for a 5+1 capacity in .22 WMR. The stainless steel receiver wears a durable black nitride finish that pairs cleanly with the walnut stock. A 1:16-inch twist stabilizes the full range of .22 Magnum projectiles, and the rifle is supplied without iron sights so the shooter can top it with a scope.

Shooters will appreciate the fully adjustable trigger, two-position safety, and right-hand walnut stock with a high flat comb and classic American profile. At 42.79 inches overall and 6.17 lbs, the 457 American balances nicely for offhand shooting and field carry.
