The CVA Scout Takedown is a rugged single-shot rifle chambered in the classic .35 Whelen, a powerful big-game cartridge favored by North American hunters. The Takedown configuration lets the action and barrel separate from the stock for easier transport between hunts, while pairing a traditional single-shot platform with modern ergonomics and optics-ready versatility.

At the heart of the rifle is a 22-inch stainless steel fluted barrel with a threaded muzzle and a factory-installed muzzle brake that tames felt recoil from the big-bore cartridge. The threaded muzzle also allows the brake to be swapped for other muzzle devices or a suppressor. The barrel is mated to a stainless steel receiver topped with an integrated Picatinny rail, so optics mount directly with no need for separate bases or rings. Iron sights are not included, allowing the shooter to configure the rifle with the optic of their choice.

The black synthetic stock is built around a modern hunting chassis with an ambidextrous layout, and it features both an adjustable comb and an adjustable length of pull (14") that let shooters dial in proper eye alignment with a scope and fine-tune fit for the field. With a single-shot capacity, the Scout Takedown keeps weight and complexity to a minimum while still being substantial enough to soak up the recoil of the .35 Whelen.
