The CVA Optima XP is a break-open, single-shot muzzleloader chambered in .50 caliber, purpose-built for hunters heading into muzzleloader season. The Optima platform is a long-established CVA design, valued for reliable ignition and straightforward handling in the field. At the heart of this rifle is a 26" barrel finished in Black Nitride with a 1:28" twist rate that stabilizes a wide range of sabot loads and conical projectiles downrange.

The steel receiver carries a matching Black Nitride finish and is drilled and tapped for optic mounting - which is exactly how this XP package ships. A Konus 3-9x40mm scope with BDC reticle is included and mounted, so the rifle is range- and hunt-ready out of the box. The barrel ships with no iron sights installed, relying on the included optic for aiming. At 39" overall length, the Optima XP carries comfortably through the woods and shoulders naturally from a variety of shooting positions.

The adjustable black synthetic stock lets the shooter dial in length-of-pull to suit their build and shooting style, while the synthetic construction shrugs off weather, scratches, and the rough conditions of a real hunt.
