CVA AC1678A 209 Breech Plug Optima/Kodiak Stainless Steel - Pre-2009 Models

The CVA 209 Breech Plug (AC1678A) is a factory replacement part engineered for the Optima and Kodiak series muzzleloaders. Machined from stainless steel with a corrosion-resistant silver finish, this hex head plug is built to the same specifications as the original component shipped on CVA inline muzzleloaders.

Designed to accept standard 209 shotgun primers, the breech plug threads into the action to provide a reliable seal for hot ignition of Pyrodex pellets and black powder charges. The hex head profile allows for straightforward installation and removal with standard tools when cleaning or performing routine maintenance on the breech area.

This breech plug is specifically designed for pivot-action and break-action CVA muzzleloaders manufactured in 2009 and earlier. Compatible models include the Optima, Optima Pro, Wolf, Kodiak, and Kodiak Pro.
