Crimson Trace LG-401 Lasergrips 1911 Full Size Red Laser Black Polymer

The Crimson Trace LG-401 Lasergrips turn any full-size 1911 or 1911A1 into a precision-ready carry or range pistol with a built-in red laser sight activated by the natural grip of the shooting hand. The LG-401 is Crimson Trace's recommended Lasergrips platform for most 1911 shooters, replacing the right-side grip panel with a rugged black polymer unit housing the laser module, battery compartment, and activation electronics.

At the heart of the LG-401 is a Class 3R red laser rated at a 633nm wavelength with a 5mW peak output, producing a 0.5 inch dot at 50 feet and an effective daylight sighting range out to 50 feet. An internal CR2032 battery powers the unit, and a pressure-sensitive rubber overmold activation button on the front strap switches the laser on the instant the shooter takes a firing grip - no separate buttons or paddles to fumble with under stress.

Windage and elevation are externally adjustable for true zero on the pistol, the housing carries a low-glare matte black finish, and the entire unit is rated to IPX4 water resistance for daily carry. At under 1 ounce, the LG-401 adds virtually no detectable weight or bulk to the handgun while delivering instant target acquisition from the holster or low-ready.

Installation is a drop-in replacement of the right grip panel: remove the existing panel, swap the LG-401 in its place, and tuck the small wiring harness inside the frame following the included Crimson Trace instruction sheet.
