The Crimson Trace LG-344 Lasergrips are a drop-in grip-replacement laser sighting system purpose-built for Ruger GP100, Super Redhawk, and Alaskan revolvers. They are built around a sturdy polymer grip frame wrapped in Crimson Trace's signature rubber-overmold construction, preserving the factory feel of the host revolver while adding an instinctive-activation aiming aid for personal protection and hunting use.

At the heart of the LG-344 is a red diode laser tuned to a 633nm wavelength with a 5mW peak output, producing a roughly 0.50" dot at 50 feet and a system-rated effective range of 50 ft in low-light conditions. A pressure-pad switch built into the grip face fires the laser the instant the shooting hand closes around the handle, while externally accessible windage and elevation screws let the user zero the beam to the revolver's point of impact without disassembling the gun.

Power is supplied by a single CR2032 lithium coin cell, and the entire assembly weighs less than 1 ounce so it does not meaningfully affect the balance of the host revolver. The black rubber-overmolded panels install in place of the factory grip panels without permanent modification, making the LG-344 a popular upgrade for full-size Ruger revolvers used for home defense, backup-gun carry, and big-game handgun hunting.
