The Crickett Gen2 KSA2443 is a purpose-built youth single-shot bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 LR, designed as an ideal first rifle for young and beginner shooters.

At its core is a 16.13" stainless steel single-shot barrel mated to a stainless steel receiver, giving the rifle excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability for outdoor use. The action is a smooth, manual cocking single-shot bolt with a rebounding firing pin that is automatically blocked when the bolt is in the open position - a key safety feature for new shooters. A single-stage trigger and firing pin safety keep operation simple and consistent.

The Crickett Gen2 updates include a polymer cocking knob and an improved front sight post for easier handling by smaller hands. Iron sights consist of a fixed post front and an adjustable peep rear, allowing young shooters to learn proper sight picture and sight alignment.
