The Crickett KSA2342 My First Rifle Gen2 is a compact single-shot bolt-action rifle chambered in 22 LR. Built around a scaled-down platform sized for new and young shooters, the Gen2 strips the rifle experience down to its fundamentals: one round at a time, fired from a clean and simple manual action.

The barrel is 16.13-inch of blued steel with a slow 1:16 twist optimized for standard velocity 22 LR ammunition. A single-shot feed keeps the operation intentionally simple while reinforcing safe handling habits. The receiver is drilled and tapped for easy mounting of a scope base and optic, making it straightforward to put a low-power scope or red dot on the rifle for improved accuracy.

A crossbolt safety sits within easy reach of the shooter's thumb. The fixed green synthetic stock with a black webbing pattern provides a secure, weather-resistant grip suited to smaller hands and rough handling. At just 2.08 lbs and 30-inch overall, the Gen2 is light and compact enough to carry comfortably and built to handle years of backyard plinking and range time.
