The Crickett KSA2302 Youth is a bolt-action .22 LR single-shot rifle purpose-built for young and first-time shooters. It pairs a 16.12" blued barrel with a blued stainless steel receiver and is fitted with a lightweight blue synthetic stock featuring an 11.5" length of pull sized for smaller-framed shooters.

The action is manual cocking with a single-stage trigger that breaks at roughly 2.5-3 lbs. A rebounding firing pin serves as the rifle's primary safety, automatically resetting whenever the bolt is opened. Iron sights consist of a fixed front blade paired with an adjustable rear peep sight, providing a simple, intuitive sight picture well suited to casual hunting and target use.
