The Crickett KSA2270 is a purpose-built .22 LR single-shot bolt-action rifle designed by Keystone Sporting Arms in the USA to introduce young and beginning shooters to the fundamentals of rimfire marksmanship. Sized specifically for smaller-statured shooters, this Generation 2 Crickett pairs classic single-shot simplicity with modern safety features in a lightweight, easy-to-handle package.

A manually cocking single-shot bolt action handles one .22 LR round at a time, fed directly into the chamber from the top. The action is paired with a 16.125" stainless steel barrel finished in stainless for corrosion resistance and long service life. 1:16" rifling stabilizes standard .22 LR ammunition reliably for plinking, target work, and small-game hunting introductions.

The black laminate stock is scaled to youth shooters with an 11.5" length of pull and a balanced overall weight of approximately 3 lbs. Total rifle length measures 30", making the platform easy to maneuver at the bench, in the field, or on the range. Iron-sight aiming is provided by an adjustable rear peep paired with a fixed front blade, so a new shooter can get on target without needing optics.
