The Crickett KSA2231 Youth is a purpose-built single-shot bolt action rifle chambered in .22 LR, designed to introduce young or new shooters to the fundamentals of marksmanship in a safe, easy-to-handle package. Made by Keystone Sporting Arms, this compact rimfire pairs a 16.12" blued barrel and blued stainless steel receiver with a two-tone green and black laminate stock scaled down to an 11.5" length of pull for smaller-framed shooters.

The bolt action feed keeps operation simple: load a single round, close the bolt, and fire. A fixed front blade pairs with an adjustable peep rear sight for intuitive sight alignment and easy accuracy development, while the rebounding firing pin safety ensures the rifle cannot fire unless the bolt is fully closed and locked - an important layer of protection for younger shooters still learning the platform.
